Herman Cain, one of the wallpaper candidates of the Reagan Library debate last night, didn’t take his limited air time as an excuse to hide in the shadows. The former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza was one of only two candidates to make an appearance in the post election “Spin Room” (the other was Rick Santorum).
Cain in person is a sight to behold. He’s witty, direct and reminds you of the guy you’d want as a father-in-law, or a really good deacon at the local megachurch. In this clip, the businessman takes umbrage at the idea that he wants to “privatize” social security as opposed to “personalize” it. He also addresses his own debate performance and overall standing in the race.
Like him or not, Cain does not appear to be stepping out of this race anytime soon.
