Hiram College professor Jason Johnson was quoted in the Ravenna Record-Courier story “Portage reacts to death, experts ponder future.”
Jason Johnson, Scholar in Residence at Hiram College and foreign and domestic policy expert, said bin Laden’s killing could help Obama defend himself against critics of his foreign policy experience in the next election.
“He pulled off in two years what Bush couldn’t accomplish in eight,” he said.
That, Jason Johnson said — coupled with an economy he expects to improve — would be a tough fact for Republican opponents to overcome as they campaign for the 2012 elections.
