Professor Jason Johnson commented to the Cleveland Plain Dealer about the upcoming election for Cuyahoga County Executive. Johnson was quoted in the article “Stakes high for Democrats as primary nears for first-ever Cuyahoga County Executive elections.”
Jason Johnson, a political science professor at Hiram College, sees independents and Republicans competing for the same voters disillusioned by the Democrats. He also believes Democrats, despite losing some steam, can still outpace the GOP here.
“A 1954 jalopy,” Johnson said, “is still better than a horse.”
