Professor Jason Johnson commented to Politic365 on the August 24 primaries in Arizona and Florida. Johnson was quoted in the article “Tuesday Primary Results: Did the Tea Party Make a Difference?”
Hiram College’s Jason Johnson doesn’t think there is much of a “sea change in voter attitudes.” In comments to Politic365.com, Johnson views “incumbents, party men and women and the dreaded establishment candidate winning right and left.”
“Kendrick Meek beat out a big spending ‘outsider;’ John McCain, the original RINO (Republican In Name Only) crushed a Tea Party supported far right ‘outsider;’ and by most predictions Ben Quayle, former VP Dan Quayle’s son, is going to win a Republican nomination for Congress in Arizona even after it was revealed he used to write for a soft-core porn site. Americans are not clamoring for ‘New’ or ‘Change’ – they are just clamoring right now. We may yet see some revolution at the ballot box this fall, but as of right now I wouldn’t bet the House, (or the Senate), on it.”
